Epson sc p800 roll feed printing problem

hi everyone.

as you can see from my attached photo. i am having problems printing from the roll feed.
i have tried everything from adjusting the platen gap to nozzle check, print alignment etc.
the lines keep on appearing and blotches of ink.
i have wasted a lot of paper so i stopped. to much paper getting wasted from the roll feed.

any help would be appreciated
