Epson Stylus 2100 printing with colour banding even when printing B&W image.

I still use my excellent Epson Stylus 2100. But now it is printing with colour banding even when printing B&W image. Downloaded latest Mac OS drivers (Catalina 15) Tried nozzle checks and cleaning etc.

OK, it is 10 years old but still a great printer and it is too expensive to replace with new A3 printer of same quality.
Any help really appreciated.
