Epson stylus C62 'service' problem

Hope someone can help? A 'Service due' note popped up on the screen when I wanted to print. I have looked through several forums and they seem to point to the ink pads being full. Does anyone know how to change them on this particular model and how to reset it?

I have had this printer for some tome now and has been excellent for my use, the cartridges are cheap and I don't want to replace it as I can't afford to. Thanks in anticipation

Are any of the lights blinking? It is which lights are on and which are blinking that determines issues.

Look up Waste Ink Protection. This may or may not be your issues.
