epson stylus c90- printer not taking in paper

when i start the printer it appears to be working normally but after taking 1 or 2 inch paper a loud noise comes from inside and then it shows the message-"paper not loaded correctly". when i examined the problem i found out that the rollers which take in the paper stop after spinning once. please help!!!
