I've got an Epson Stylus Photo 1270, running Windows 8.1. I realize there is no driver available from Epson for Win 8, but I was able to get it to run on my system. As far as compatibility, it seems like All Systems are Go. But yet when I try to print something, I run into trouble. I hit print, the printer responds and begins to feed the paper through, and then it stops. The "Paper" light comes on, and the power button just starts blinking, indicating a print job in the queue.
I mean, if this was a compatibility or driver issue, would the thing even respond to the computer at all? The fact that it tries and fails, tells me it's not a Windows compatibility issue, but I could be wrong.
