Hello,
First timer here.
The company I work for has 5 Epson Stylus Pro 4900 printers. Recently one of them died and since Epson no longer makes those, we had to buy the Epson SureColor P5000 Standard Edition instead. We now have a hard time finding a supplier for ink cartridges for the P5000 (I'm in Quebec, Canada...). My question is, can I use the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 ink cartridges in the Epson SureColor P5000 Standard printer? I realize I would have to physically remove a tiny piece of plastic from the cartridge in order to insert it into the P5000, but would it be recognized?
Has anyone tried that? Did it work? Could it work?
Thank you in advance,
