I am starting a new thread. I have two EPSON printers. SX535WD and SX530. They have both served me well. But the SX535WD had been out of use for a few weeks so I decided to tidy it up. I bought new inks and installed them. But the coloured inks didn’t print too well - black was fine. I tried the usual head cleaning routine but to no avail. After three tries I decided that there was some dried ink. So I bought a proprietary cleaning kit and cleaned up all three coloured ink nozzles And replaced the cartridges for good measure.
If it ain’t broke - don’t fix it!
Sadly the printer is now dead. It won’t execute the normal startup routine. The same message appears every time: “Printer error. Turn printer off and on again”. Great idea - but after about 200 attempts I am a little bored. Any ideas how to fix??
