Epson stylus SX115 install problem

I have the Epson stylus SX115 but not the instalation cd!
I have downloaded the drivers from the epson site but:

1) when I connect the printer I cant run the driver

2) when I dont connect the printer and try to run the driver
after a while a windows shows saying that its scanning my laptop
for the printer and I should connect it but it never succeeds!

I am running the windows 7 x32

please help
