Epson WF-2540 Fatal Error

I am getting the generic "printer error" on boot. Occasionally it doesn't, and it works perfectly.

Is there any way to get an error code from this? I cannot find a service manual for this.

I don't see anything obviously wrong with it. When it goes into an error, a locking pin drops to keep the head from moving. Lifting this pin, I can move the print head with relative ease.
