Epson WF-3720 Scan picture to full size

I have a new Epson WF-3720 printer/scanner. On my old Canon printer, I could take a photo of any size(1 x 1, 5 x 7) put it in the top corner, and it would scan to full size automatically. My new Epson does not seem to be able to do this. Am I doing something wrong? If I send the printer back for a different one, what feature do I look for to know that I can do this? This is the feature I must have.

Its called Copy or Copying. Use it just like a copy machine.
See your manual pages 84 -> 86.
You can reduce or enlarge copy size, page 86.
Set to 100% for full size copy.
