First off, apologies for not knowing the technical lingo of what the parts are actually called. But I have an Epson WF-7710 that makes a clicking noise when what seems like the paper feed motor spins. It spins to a certain point, clicks loudly as heard in this video, then a paper jam message appears on the screen, even though there is no paper in the unit whatsoever. I disassembled the printer via this video to have a look around. I see nothing out of the ordinary besides what I just described. This printer sat in the box for 1.5 years after delivery, so any warranty was void at the time of opening.
