Epson Workforce WF-7710: Printer has no funktionality after starting

Hello,
after starting up, my Epson WF-7710 does not work at all. Only the copy button is active in the display and the other buttons are inactive. The printer is not in ‘Recovery mode’!
The message always appears: ‘Starting process. Please wait’. The printer is connected via USB and is not recognised during the driver and firmware update.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do?
