I have recently upgraded my desktop and my printer, to an XP-2100 from a XP-202. I previously used Image Scan for scanning on my Opensuse OS.
I am still using Opensuse, now Leap 15.2 with the new printer and Image Scan software but the results are not as good as before. Previously I could get a good scan for a B&W document at 96dpi. Now I am having to increase this to 300dpi just to get a readable output. I am also not impressed with the GUI for the latest version which seems less friendly than before.
Is my problem due to the printer not being supported fully or is the latest software less effective? Any suggestion for improvement would be welcome.
