I'm a new starter on this site and I'm not that clued up with computer usage , please treat me gently !
The problem concerns not being able to use the scanner part on my Epson XP-8600 printer unit ,I can use the printer and copier without any problems.
The scanner I used quite a time ago and worked correctly , I have updated , the Windows 11 and the printer all to the latest versions, I have run tests which inform me the computer is correctly connected and is running O.K.
When I try to scan , the LCD screen asks me to install 'Epson event manager software' which I have done.
I am running out of ideas, any help will be greatly appreciated.
