Loaded the disc and hit the print button on the desktop utility. What emerged looked rough. So, I figured maybe the print head was gummy, so ran the “clean” cycle.
Ran the “check nozzles” cycle from the maintenance tab on the printer screen.
What I found was that there was barely anything coming from the “photo black” cartridge.
Ran the “clean” cycle again and repeated “check nozzles” and found it to be much better.
A reprint of the disc yielded far better results.
Lesson is: Might have to clean those heads more than once. “Nozzle check” is your friend.
