when i scan an image i align it with the left/bottom edge of the glass
about 1" of the preview and scan is being truncated.
it doesn't matter if the image is small or large. 1" is being truncated. i have to place the image in the CENTER or bottom center of the scanner bed to get the full image. in any case,,,away from the left edge
procedure: ive been using this procedure ever since owning a perfection 2480(60? whatever)

1...i open my image editor, paint shop pro
2...i import/TWAIN/acquire which opens the scanner software
3..the preview, and thus the scan does NOT show 1" of the bottom of the image
attached are two photos placed on the scanner bed. the top image is the full image. the bottom image is when the photo is aligned to the left side
