Fuser not getting hot enough hp m 1005

Hello,
Im experiencing fuser problems with my printer hp m1005. The fuser wont get hot enough and the printing can be rubbed off from the page. I've replaced the heating element of the fuser but the problem still persists. Any tricks left to try?

The printer has barely printed 10000 pages. The problem started when i replaced the torn teflon film in the fuser. I wonder if i broke something in the printer.
