How to disable automatic image preview when using ADF scan to image function on printer?

Hello friends,

I own a Brother MFC-L2740DW and when I use the automatic document feeder to scan images, it opens each file after finishing the scan. How do I disable this? I looked for an option in Control Center 4, but couldn't find a solution.

There is a "Target Application" option under "Device Scan Settings," but no option to disable it.

The reason this is a problem is because when I scan 10 images, I get 10 windows that open, which I have to close individually.

I am running Windows 7 with all the latest drivers for both the printer and operating system.

Any help would be much obliged.

Do what I did... switch scanning programs. The HP Scan works good on my Brother MFC-J870dw.

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi For Windows.

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
