How to permanently change Microtek ScanMaker 3880's resolution?

Hello

I have recently purchased this scanner and noticed every time I scan its resolution is changed back to 96 dpi, poor quality. The configuration prgram does not allow changing the resolution. Please let me know if you have managed to make a permanent change in resolution.

Usually it is just done through configuring your settings or properties but as what you said, it doesn't allow you. Have you tried of browsing your control panel? Maybe the settings can be found there.
But if this doesn't work I think it is best that you contact your service provider about this matter to avoid further damage.
