Hi all,
Have a hp 8610 that was given to be be a friend.
It was displaying the printer head error.
Replaced the printer head and cleaned both e.g. took them apart as per online guides and tried them both again.
However that didn't work and for some reason I have no printer head failure error on the screen.
I can see the error when I use the HP scan and print doctor.
But the printer itself appears to be ok with no messages on its screen.
It won't print a test page etc and keeps failing the print and scan software diagnostics repair when connected to my laptop.
I'm going to do some continuity tests on the printheads and then between the printhead receiver and the formatter board.
Does anyone know if faults with the formatter board or the ribbon cables.
There's not really anything I can see wrong on the printheads though.
Any suggestions would be welcome
