HP anti acartridge issue?

I have a HP Officejet pro 7730, had an issue with non HP cartridges some years back and found a fix to remove the update. I think I updated my printer and allowed HP updates again because HP scandoctor showed a report indicating non-hp ink cartridges and to replace them.
Removing and reinstallling the printer and all HP stuff has not helped.
Anybody have a fix or something to roll back HP firmware update?

If you are using the genuine HP cartridge on your Officejet Pro 7730 and getting the problem, then check if you have inserted the cartridges properly. Also, clean the cartridge contacts with lint-free cloth, make changes to the printer settings, and more.

Besides that, you can disable the "cartridge protection" for your printer to see if it helps. To do that-

  • On the printer’s panel, go to Menu.
  • Then, open Settings and navigate to Supplies.
  • Tap on the button next to Authorized HP Cartridge Policy.
  • Next, for cartridge protection, choose cartridge protection and turn it off.
After using this method, see if you are still having the issue. Also, make sure to get more help if necessary.
