HP color laser jet won't connect

I have an HP color laserjet 3201dw. I printed one item successfully. It is hard wired because my computer does not have WiFi. The printer itself does not appear to have hard wiring as an option. Today HP Smart apparently sees the printer but says it's offline. When I try to add it I'm told to turn it on and click OK to refresh it. Nothing happens. Any ideas?
