Ive been trying to work this out for ages now, but I've had no joy.
We're using a Mac + Photoshop to print to a designjet 800ps, but all the blacks are looking green. We're using the original inks, but for some reason the business will only buy epson paper (bulk purchase deal i think). They wont implement a clour managed system either...... too expensive.
So when im printing, the nearest to a correct black ive got is when ive converted the image to a CMYK colour space. Im using a perceptual rendering intent, and SWOP color profie.
Could this simply be a mismatch between ink and paper? Does that happen?
