This is my 2nd printer of this model bought late 07. I have always used refilled cartridges. About 2 months ago my BLACK cartridge status light was suddenly on. The cartridge was about 1/2 full. After removing and reinstalling several times, several days apart, the light would still eventually come on again. I installed a new one. It worked for about 5 days, then the light again. I reinstalled that one with the same results until about 10 days ago. Now OK. Three days ago it started with the COLOR one. Same pattern. At the moment both are OK.
Both are full of ink. What gives. I don't care about the #@%&&*$ lights but it stops the printer.
