HP Deskjet 843C not working after MacOS update to 11.6.3

Hi, I upgraded my laptop to MacOS BigSur some time ago, and my printer continued to work fine. However, I have just done a smaller update to BigSur 11.6.3 and now it won't work at all. The printer is no longer supported by HP. Can anyone help at all?

What smaller update you have done?

Try in this way and then test its working fine or not


Reset the printing system:
1- Open the Apple menu
2- click System Preferences
3- Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners
4- Right-click or Ctrl + click anywhere in the Printers list
5- click Reset printing system.
6- Restart the printer
7- click the plus icon (+) to re-add it to the list.
