HP LaserJet 2550N won't print job correctly

I have a LJ 2550 n on a network that when a job is sent from a Leopard computer all I get are pages of jibberish "9998877665f54466789999" at the top of each. I taken the driver out and reinstalled the driver many times. I might get it to print one graphic and then it is back to the jibberish.
I cannot determine why this is happening.
Ideas?
