HP Photosmart 7520 won't print black color. I have tried all of the"fixes" that HP recommended. It still doesn't print black. The color worked but it was poor quality/blurred. I cleaned the print head but it didn't fix it. The printer shows that it needs head alignment. I installed a new print head but that didn't help. The printer still shows that it needs head alignment. Any thoughts on how to repair this? Thanks, Mike H.

I have always purchased my cartridges from Sam's Club. This black cartridge is a double size cartridge with an expiration of 11/01/2020. Thanks Shadowman for any help that you can give me.

Could be a few different reasons for this but maybe the printhead for the black ink needs replaced on the printer.
I tried that solution, and a couple of other suggestions, but nothing worked. I still get messages about "head alignment" and to contact HP. Every solution that I have tried comes back to the same cycle of "power on/off" and "head alignment". Getting frustrated.
I replaced the cartridge and the print head. It still won't align.
