HPInstantInk error

I have an HP 5744 printer and am getting an HPInstantInk error. The ink is full but the error does not go away. I replaced it with a new cartridge with same results. I did not sign up for the HP Instant Ink program. All of a sudden I am getting this message. Any ideas on how to get around this problem?

Update: My husband put in the Instant Ink - color cartridge. I happened to see in Forum that if we use a non-Instant Ink cartridge, then stick with it and do not use/mix it with the Instant Ink cartridge because the program counts the number of copies, etc. It made me look at the cartridges more closely and that's when I discovered what my husband did. All is well and I am printing happily again. Sorry to bother you.
