I need an All-in-One to scan old photos...what's best?

I have a lot of vintage family photos, some historic (WW2), that I need scanned to preserve the images. What's a good AIO that's under $250 that will give me the best resolution? Or does someone have an alternative that I should consider? Many thanks.
