If I handed you an A4 poster and told you to give me an A3 copy, would you print it A4 size in the middle of an A3 piece of paper?

So whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy do alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll printers do that?????

I would like to embarrass printer designers with this question on national TV

Most printers have a A4<A3 option. Not working?
