iMac and Epson P-900 won't see each other.

I have tried everything I can to get my Epson Print Layout on my iMac to recognise my Epson P-900 printer, I have even followed threads from this forum, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to work.
p.s. there is a big dent in my wall where I have been banging my head...

I know how frustrating this can be but let’s try a few things ensure your printer and iMac are on the same network (or try a different USB cable if connected directly). Update both your macOS and the Epson Print Layout software and download the latest driver for the P-900 from Epson’s website. In System Settings > Printers & Scanners, remove and re add the printer, making sure to select the Epson driver instead of AirPrint. If needed, reset the printing system (right click in the printer list to find this option). Also, check for firmware updates via Epson’s utility and ensure your firewall or antivirus isn’t blocking the connection. Hopefully, one of these solves it! Let us know how it goes.
