Ink cartridge jammed

I'm trying to install the Epson XP760 and all was going well until I inserted the ink cartridges. I got a message to say they were not installed correctly so I tried again. Unfortunately I must have pressed one cartridge down too hard and now it's jammed, resisting all attempts to release it.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can I solve it? A speedy response would be very appreciated.

Squeeze locking tab firmly and Pull up vertically (straight up). Takes pretty good tug upward
to remove.

Thank you so much, Ruffin. I have now managed to remove one or two cartridges just to see if I could. As an old fogey my grip is weak but with the tip of a paper knife I was easily able to release the lock.
I can't thank you enough.

You need to clean ink cartridges. You can also check the software.
