iP4200 won't print landscape from the cassette

I am trying to print landscape on a 5x7 piece of paper. It looks correct in the "print" dialog box. However when it actually prints, it is portrait. Something is goofy because no matter which orientation I select, the exact same thing prints (both portrait). Has anyone else had this problem or know what I am doing wrong?
