Issues connecting Canon PIXMA MG3022 to Verizon Jetpack

Hello all,
I'm having trouble setting up a Canon PIXMA MG3022 to print through a wireless network created through a Verizon Jetpack. I've tried setting the printer up through an Airport Extreme and it works fine. I've also managed to connect the printer to the Jetpack but, when I try to ping it, I get no response from the printer. I've verified it's connected through the Jetpack configuration page. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.
