It always seems to happen after the printer “warms up” a bit and is used more heavily. This is a new ink cartridge and the ink ribbon is not twisted inside the cartridge. To me it looks like the left side of the ribbon feeder is not tightening fast enough to keep up with the ribbon output on the right side. This has been an ongoing problem for some time now. They are using an original Lexmark ink ribbon so it’s not a refurbished cartridge issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
