Lexmark C3326, 3300 series printer black cartridge 0 remaining estimated pages

I fixed this error a few years ago, as I use toner refills. But, I don't seem able to fix it currently.

I don't want to pay for a new cartridge, as the price for a cartridge is as much as a fair laser printer.
