Hi there, I hope someone might have seen this issue before and be able to offer some advice. I have an Epson SCP600 printer, it's started printing coloured lines down the side of the prints. These are sometimes broken lines, but they run down the edge of one side. I had this issue last week, ran several headcleans, all were perfect and it still printed these lines. Eventually the problem just seemed to disappear and it printed fine. I thought it was due to a setting on the platern gap, but the issue is still here and I can't figure out why! Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: I started using non-epson ink a few months ago. I have returned them back now as I fear they might be the cause of this issue, but I have still have some installed.

It is most likely the cartridges. If they are not genuine Epson branded (You can still see Epson on the cartridge chipset that probably has sharpie over it). If it's not a genuine cartridge from Epson, it is most certainly the third-party cartridge.

If you have your old cartridges still, we literally just released a video exploring the options of using genuine cartridges and filling them yourself. We rated it for the P800, 3800, and 3880. However, the P600 would also work based on how similar the system is.

Take a look here:

There may also be a "Power Cleaning" option in the Maintenance menu ON your printer. Not through software/drivers. If you have any other questions, let me know.
