Maintenance Cartridge Cover on Epson 3880

I picked up a nearly new Epson 3880, however the little door that covers the maintenance cartridge is missing. When I turn it on I get and error to open and close he door. I looked for a door online and pretty much none out there. Anyone know of a way to trick the printer into thinking the door is closed or have a possible solution? Thanks in advance for any advice.
