Manual or Automatic door Canon TS8150

Hi all,

Does the door where the touchscreen is located close automatically or are users supposed to close it manually?

Pushing it down manually to close does not feel right , makes mechanical noise as if it's supposed to close automatically.

Hi Sergio, I have the TS8052 model, looks exactly like your model. When you turn off the printer a message appears on the screen asking 'do you want to retract the tray automatically'. If you say yes, the tray retracts into the printer but the display panel stays at an angle(sticking out). When the display light goes out you then have to manually close the display panel. You will hear a noise like gears moving but this is normal.
