Vuescan by Hamrick Co. is an excellent scanning software solution and lists the MFC-J6920DW as a printer/scanner it supports. However, though it works perfectly when I connect using USB, the program will not recognize my printer/scanner when connected via wireless to my network. Hamrick claims "something is blocking the mDNS responses from the scanner from being returned to VueScan." and has provided no further suggestions. Other programs (i.e. Microsoft Paint, Corel PhotoPaint, etc.) can connect to the wireless scanner just fine. All computers on my network work fine with other software and I have everything from Windows 7 to Windows 10 systems connected to the network. Has anyone out there used Vuescan and had it work with wireless connection? Any help/suggestions appreciated.
