My brother mfc-9840cdw is becoming more of a headache.
I have been troubleshooting ongoing print issue for a while now. Some history:
Ink toner replaced about 3 years ago – probably have about 2000 pages printed.
Drum unit replaced about 3 years ago – same as above
Yesterday replaced the belt drive (started noticing rubber band pieces in the printer)
Yesterday replaced the ink waste tray
I had some streaks prior to the belt and ink waste swap, but not it is much worse.
I have tried the corona cleaning and also looked into the toner area, but can’t really find a smoking gun. In general the toner leaks, but I don’t want to buy new toner cartridges when it could be the drum.
