I'm having problems with my Epson WF-3640. I replaced the black cartridge which was out. It shows as full, but the cartridge feels real light, almost empty. And when I printed a letter with a picture, there was no black ink printing at all. The red and blue I used were no trouble, they printed just fine, but no black ink printed at all, and on the photograph, there was horizontal banding. Is the printer broken? Did I install the black ink wrong. If it's full, why does it feel light and why doesn't the printer detect it as a empty cartridge, rather than a full one. I'm using the Epson ink, so it's not a matter of "compatible ink", which I never trusted anyway. Is it the software. Why can't I print in black? Can anyone help me with this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely yours,
Maghdalena
