Hi,
Me and my fiancé own a body care company and currently have a hp laser jet pro color m451nw that we are using to print labels and branding prints. The printer use to print color alot better, but now it leaves lines in the color, and the color doesn’t work as well anymore.
I am trying to find a reasonably priced printer that can print professional level colors. I know that’s not a standard word to use, but I just have always wanted a printer that can make some colors pop. The downside is I have to have a laser jet, since my labels get wet (soap and body care products). I don’t print anymore then 100-200 pages per month max. We do use quite heavy weighted Cardstock at times, but I don’t have money to buy a printer based around it handling 150# Cardstock.
My main reason I need help is because I don’t know where to sacrifice. I can’t spend $1000 on a printer, but I need great color and a low operational cost. Is there suggested printers that come to mind with those rough parameters? I would love to have a printer where I could use third party toner, but i dont know if thats an option these days anymore.
I would really appreciate Any help or a pointing in a direction for what I would need. I am not opposed to older printer, I’ve founder older stuff breaks less these days.
Thanks so much,
Drew
