New Hp 2652 does NOTHING

My Cannon 430 died. So I went to Walmart and bought an HP 2652. Plugged it in and tried to use it. an error message came up " printer is in state of error " After about 10 min...out came the print. No clue what to do. I am using a USB cable. I only use a printer for eBay shipping labels. I am about to toss the POS in the trash!! H E L P!!!!

I went upstairs and came back about an hour later and there was 7 items printed?? what the heck!!

Ok, you did HP install using install Cd and followed HP written instructions and on-screen instructions carefully?
If that is so then follow this:

Click Control Panel -> Click Devices & Printers -> Right Click HP2652 Icon -> Select Remove Device
Re-install printer again following this link explicitly:

It did not come with a cd

Once more Hodaka. CD is not repeat not required if you follow this link below as instructed:


Click Control Panel -> Click Devices & Printers -> Right Click HP2652 Icon -> Select Remove Device

Hodaka: If you made previous attempt to install printer
Then you must first un-install before attempting new install. Following this:
Click Control Panel -> Click Devices & Printers -> Right Click HP2652 Icon -> Select Remove Device

I uninstalled it, RE installed it an now it works!! I was getting ready to throw it!!
