My IP address for my Epson 4530 used to be 192.168.1.1. When I got a new router the addressed changed. My router has the address 192.158.1.1 so my printer cannot have that address. Is this normal procedure? It just seems a little odd.
Also I believe that in Epson inkjet printers the ink last a long time. However, I think it is showing that I am out of cyan. Can I just take out the cyan cartridge, shake a little and put it back in? I cannot remember exactly, but I think I have done that before and it extended the life of the ink cartridge. I know that I done it on toner cartridges.
Just because it says it is empty does not mean it really is empty - sometimes.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Lou Reed
