New Workforce 435 leaving pizza or pointed wheel identation in photo paper

I am getting pizza wheel marks in photo paper when I print. Its not leaving marks in the ink itself. The ink seems to be drying before it has a chance to do that. What it is doing is leaving identations in the paper, almost looks like perforations though its not all the way through the paper. I have 3 separate rows of these tracks pressed into the paper that show up on a 4X6 photo printout. Really annoying. What can I do about it. Thinking or returning the printer but wanted to ask first.
