OK, this is a weird thing. I have a Brother MFC-L8650CDW colour laser printer. I've had no issues with it in the several years I've owned it. Today, as I was putting new paper in the bottom paper draw I noticed that the last 4 pages in the draw (before adding the new paper) had an odd marking on them. The marking corresponds to the construction of the printer draw. I've attached two photos that show the marking on these pages and the empty paper draw. Anyone come across this before, or know what's caused it ?
