Hi all,
I have an OKI MC362 that almost always Jams the first page of a document, often (but not always) it will print fine on the second attempt.
FWIW, I'm not familiar with the terminology, so bear with me.
The jam seems to occurr under the cartridges mostly - it's almost as though the page is being pushed from the paper feeder, but isn't being transported correctly by the main paper conveyor bed (whatever that's called).
Here are some pictures for reference:
- The page as found when you remove the cartridge basket
- The printer bed after you remove the page
- The printer (for reference).
Would love to get this resolved - it's a great printer when it works.
There is another problem that it has, which may or may not be related. When warming up and printing, there's quite a loud grinding noise coming from the lower back of the printer. It sounds like gears not meshing correctly. I've visually inspected everywhere I can access, but can't see anything that looks unusual, and other then this jamming problem it works fine.
Appreciate any advice on this one.
Thanks in Advance.
