Oki Microline 591 vs 395C bar code

I have been printing Interleaved 2 of 5 on oki microline 590 and 591 models. Now we are migrating to microline 395C and the barcode does not print. I'm not an expert on barcodes, but I can determine the parameters used on model 59n. They are
Esc DLA 8 3 0 0 4 3 1 1 1 Esc DLB 8

Can anyone tell me why these parameters do not work on model 395C?
