Hey there, everyone. I have a Canon Pixma ip4000 which has been such an awesome printer. I've had it for years now with no problems. Yesterday I was printing some pages out, and it stopped printing fluidly, instead printing a line, then pausing, printing a line, then pausing, etc. When I looked at the printout, it had not put any ink on the page. I have had the same print head in this printer for ages and it's been working fine up until this point.
This morning I find I can't get it to print at all. The print head carriage is now stuck to the far right, and the blink code is one green followed by 5 orange. The error message I get is "the appropriate print head is not installed", but it is. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
If it's any help, I'm running Vista Home Premium, SP2.
Cheers
